For this response I want you to create a hypothetical experiment you could undertake in order to solve an issue. This could be a cure for a disease, addiction, or anything else scientific you may be interested in. Describe your experiment in terms of why this is an important phenomenon that should be studied, and what methods you would you use in order to answer your question. Please include a method you would use in order to manipulate the brain (lesion, microinjection, etc.) and how you would measure its effect on the brain (microdialysis, histological methods, electrophysiology, etc.). Also include how you would test behavior in order to find out if your manipulation was successful (Morris water maze, reversal learning, self-administration, etc.).

This should be 1 page minimum. No references are required, but if you want to cite a study that you used as a blueprint then be sure to cite it in your references. You may use any of the techniques we talked about in class or any other that we skipped over.
